Almamia Danse Project

Two exceptional dancers, an internationally renowned choreographer, the original pop music accompanied by Latin and Mediterranean sounds: the new show by the Almamia Danse Project reconciled the challenge and stages a revisited Carmen, a passionate pas-de-deux and tragic conceived by the creative genius of the choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti.

On stage, only for the duration of the show, Camilla Colella, a young Italian dancer and producer of the show, and Octavio de la Roza, an Argentine dancer chosen by Maurice Béjart who wanted him to star in his most famous ballet Boléro with music by Ravel.

Couple in life and on stage, the two dancers reveal their complicity in a loving and disturbing, dangerous and magnetic game: love, passion, betrayal and death dance on stage with Carmen and Don José, sculpting their bodies in the skilled hands of an Artist. A single step two, a real hymn to the strength of feelings whose consequences can be unpredictable.
